Glazing a Stoneware Sculpture
(Dragon Ocarina)
Page Three

GlazesNow for the next step - to apply the glaze. |
|
Glaze AccentsFirst, apply two (2) coats of Snowflake glaze to the areas that you want to stand out. (I use brush 2 for this). Then apply one (1) coat of the Cream on top of the Snowflake. The areas I chose to "highlight" were the wing ridges, throat and belly, the crests on the head, spine ridges, and the claws. These areas will show up a lighter color than the rest of the body after the firing. |
