| Below are photos of some of the ocarinas I have collected, made by John Langley (United Kingdom). He makes his ocarinas of a white clay, and glazes them with a beautiful semi-transparent blue-green glaze. These ocarinas are concert pitched with either a 4 hole "English" fingering (one octave) or a 6 hole variation, which allows an octave plus one note range.
For closeups of any of these ocarinas see the list at the bottom of this page.
To purchase any of John Langley's ocarinas, they are available through Mr. Langley's website and the Ocarina Workshop.

 | This is the largest of John Langley's ocarinas, dubbed the "Pregnaphone," also known as the Mega Bass. It is approximately the size of a basketball. |
|
 | The "finger holes" of the Pregnaphone must be covered by the palms of the hands. Because of its size, it must rest on the lap or a table while being played. It has a lovely, deep sound. |
